A rental applicant says they never received an email regarding my screening request. What should I do?

When you request a credit/background report on a rental applicant, Buildium sends an email to the applicant asking them to log in to the ShareAble website to authorize the request. If the applicant does not respond, Buildium sends an email reminder at 3 days and 7 days respectively.

If the applicant still has not received the email, you have two options:

  1. Print instructions and give them to the rental applicant.
  2. You can cancel the original request and begin a new one.
