A rental applicant says he never received an email regarding my screening request. What should I do?

When you request a credit/background report on a rental applicant, Buildium sends an email to the applicant asking him to log in to the SmartMove website to authorize the request. If the applicant does not respond, Buildium sends an email reminder at 3 days and 7 days respectively.

If the applicant still has not received the email, you have two options:

  1. Print instructions and give them to the rental applicant.
  2. You can cancel the original request and begin a new one.
