After you've signed up for Showings Coordinator, you can start using the feature with Buildium.
The first difference you'll notice is a button on the listings page that will direct you to your property portfolio on Tenant Turner. Click View leads on Tenant Turner to directly manage availability and settings for each property.
To update any existing listings you have posted to use Showings Coordinator:
- Navigate to Leasing > Listings.
- Then, click on a listing from the Listed Units page.
- From the unit description page, select the toggle in the Showings Coordinator box.
- NOTE: only US based properties can use this toggle
To update any unlisted unit to default to Showings Coordinator:
- Navigate to Leasing > Listings.
- Click the Unlisted units tab.
- Click on a listing, and select the toggle in the Showings Coordinator box.
Selecting a unit to use Showings Coordinator will automatically update your property portfolio in Tenant Turner.
Once you list a unit that has Showings Coordinator enabled, you'll be prompted to adjust settings for that specific unit on the Tenant Turner website.
When a unit is listed with Showings Coordinator as the listing contact, Buildium will sync over the property address, listing info, property and unit photos/videos, and the rental application address. If anything changes on the Buildium side while this unit is listed, it will automatically update on the Tenant Turner side. This is true as well if a unit is unlisted and re-listed with the Showings Coordinator, too.
When a unit is de-listed and the unit had Showings Coordinator enabled, you'll be prompted to finish the flow on Tenant Turner, which has a one page workflow to notify all prospective tenants who had entered the Tenant Turner system, but did not get approved for that unit.
