How to set up a late fee policy for a specific property

Buildium can calculate monthly late fees for your residents by property.

Before setting up any property specific late fee policies, you'll need to set up your global policy first.

To set up a late fee policy for a specific property:

1. Navigate to Rentals > Properties.
2. Click on the name of the property you want to set the late fee for.
3. From the property summary page, select Financials.
4. Click Lease payment settings, then Override late fee policy.
   
5. Fill out the form, then click Save.
