A note is a quick way to document a conversation, email, or phone call. Notes can be added to rental properties and their units, associations and their units, rental owners, ownership accounts, leases, tenants, association owners, and vendors.

For example:

  • Leave reminders on recent phone calls
  • Backup notes from visits
  • Create digital notes on brainstorming sessions that occurred during a meeting.

Add a noteShowHide

  1. Navigate to the location where you'd like to add the note.

    You can add notes to associations, association units, association owners, rental properties, rental units, rental owners, and tenants.

  2. Click Add note.
  3. Type the note in the Enter notes field.

    Notes are limited to 64K characters.

  4. Click Save.

Edit a noteShowHide

  1. Navigate to the location where you'd like to edit the note.

    You can add notes to associations, association units, association owners, rental properties, rental units, rental owners, and tenants.

  2. Click the name of the entity whose note you want to edit.
  3. From the summary page, scroll down and click the note you'd like to edit in the Enter notes field.
  4. Edit the current note as desired.
  5. Click Save.

Delete a noteShowHide

  1. Navigate to the location where you'd like to add the note.

    You can add notes to associations, association units, association owners, rental properties, rental units, rental owners, and tenants.

  2. Click the name of the entity whose note you want to remove.
  3. A list of current notes is displayed below the Notes section.
  4. Locate the note you want to delete.
  5. Click on the note, and click Delete.
  6. Click Delete Note to confirm.

Export a noteShowHide

  1. Navigate to the location where you'd like to export the note.

    You can add notes to associations, association units, association owners, rental properties, rental units, rental owners, and tenants.

  2. Click the name of the entity whose notes you want to export.
  3. Click Export button.
  4. Your browser's Save As dialog box appears, prompting you to save the exported data in an appropriate location on your hard drive.
  5. Save the file.
