Buildium's responsive resident portal - How your tenants see it

 

 

Establish your resident site settings and then grant your tenants and association owners access to their website.

General settingsShowHide

Tenants and association owners can use the My info page to keep their contact information up-to-date and to change their password.

Payments tabShowHide

The Payments tab shows ledger history - charges, payments, refunds, and so on.

Tenants and association owners can easily see their current balance, their late fee policy, Payment instructions and a history of their charges and payments.

In addition, if your account is set up for epay, tenants and association owners can make a payment online from this page and manage their scheduled online payments.

If there are multiple tenants on a lease or association owners on an ownership account, each will see the same shared ledger details while retaining the ability to make their own, personal payment.

Messages tabShowHide

The Messages tab allows for the submission of maintenance requests and other contact requests. Each request has a full history and is visible by all tenants on a lease or association owners on an ownership account. To add a request, click Contact us and complete the form.

In addition, Resident site announcements will appear under the Messages tab

Community tabShowHide

The Community tab is a place for your tenants and association owners to add topics and submit replies to ongoing conversations. Discussions help to build a sense of community and can be held on a variety of topics such as points from the last board meeting, points of view about how to handle community issues, and more.

DocumentsShowHide

Documents section shows all files that have been shared with the tenants and association owners, such as scanned copies of leases, CC&Rs and other condo docs, and move-in and move-out reports.

ContactsShowHide

The Contacts section helps tenants and association owners become acclimated to their new neighborhood. Share numbers like preferred vendors, utility and municipal information, and preferred restaurants from the Resident site contact directory. You can categorize each contact.

Association owners can opt to share their contact information with others in the association. This helps to build a sense of community within the association: whether to learn the name of the family across the street or to find a phone number to borrow a cup of sugar.

This option is only available for association owners.

 

Association owners can decide if their contact information is included on this page. By default, contact information is not listed. This decision can be toggled on the My info section.

ReportsShowHide

This page is only available for board members within an association.

The Reports section allows board members to run selected reports about their association whenever they like.

FinancialsShowHide

This page is only available for board members within an association.

The Financials section allows board members to view their association's income and expenses.
