Troubleshooting: Resident cannot pay online

If it's a rental property:

  1. Confirm that the tenant is correct and that the Payments tab is unavailable. Sign in as the tenant and confirm the issue.

    Sometimes, the issue isn't technical. If you can see the Payments tab, then it's possible that the tenant doesn't know how to pay online.

  2. Confirm that the bank account is set up for ePay. If not, apply for ePay or change the property so its operating bank account is one that can accept ePay transactions.
  3. Confirm that the property has ePay enabled. Turn on ePay if necessary.

  4. Confirm that the lease has ePay enabled. Turn on ePay if necessary.

If it's an association:

  1. Confirm that the association owner is correct and that the Payments tab is unavailable. Sign in as the association owner and confirm the issue.

    Sometimes, the issue isn't technical. If you can see the Payments tab, then it's possible that the association owner doesn't know how to pay online.

  2. Confirm that the bank account is set up for ePay. If not, apply for ePay or change the property so its operating bank account is one that can accept ePay transactions.
  3. Confirm that the association has ePay enabled. Turn on ePay if necessary.
